Job Summary    

Codal UK ( Lincoln, Lincolnshire )
 
Codal requires a dedicated and experienced UI Designer to craft supremely usable, aesthetically appealing, responsive, and holistic digital user experiences. With hands-on experience, our ideal candidate will utilize the latest user research, synthesis, and validation techniques to define a results-driven strategy that meets all business and user requirements. They will then execute a best-in-class visual design in collaboration with UX Designer, Strategists, Product Managers and the client themselves. This will include interactions, prototypes and design documentation to ensure this is engineer-ready.   
Candidates must provide a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of techniques and processes. Other responsibilities include:   
 
Key Responsibilities   
  • Constructing and modifying brand’s design systems for growth and scalability;   
  • Design and prototype using industry standard tools like Figma;   
  • Translate user needs into design direction through user flows, empathy maps, conversion journeys, personas and other documentation;   
  • Collaborate with PMs, clients, and other members of the UX team to identify user needs and product specifications;   
  • Provide estimates on work as part of the team’s overall project planning;   
  • Working as part of an agile and rapidly innovating team environment   
Requirements   
  • 5+ years of UI experience designing for ecommerce and/or enterprise clients;   
  • An online portfolio or case study that demonstrates a solid understanding of both UI techniques and best practices;   
  • Proficiency with Figma;   
  • Familiarity with the Agile project methodology;   
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills;   
  • Ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environment;
