NTWRK is a new content, commerce and experience company for the pop-culture obsessed generation. Through a mobile-first video platform, NTWRK features original daily content hosted by celebrities, musicians, and notable pop-culture figures - all paired with shoppable exclusive products launched in partnership with premier brands. Together it is challenging the traditional definitions of retail and entertainment with a new category it refers to as “retailment.”
NTWRK is backed by the likes of Jimmy Iovine, LeBron James, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Warner Bros. Digital Networks, and have featured collaborations with Odell Beckham Jr./Nike, DJ Khalid/Beats, Blake Griffin/Levi’s, Wu-Tang Clan/Clarks, and more.
NTWRK is a small team working together to deliver outsized impact. This is possible because its employees share an intrinsic motivation to redefine the mobile content and commerce experience. Job Description / Why We’re Hiring:
We’re looking for a Product Designer on the UI side with experience working in agile development teams. This role will work in our product team and will be responsible for conceptualizing, ideating, and building features for our entire user base. NTWRK maintains a compelling design aesthetic that stands apart from other tech startups: be part of a company building a voice and brand narrative through every touchpoint with our users.
What You’ll Do:
- Solve hard UI and UX problems that only NTWRK faces due to our combination of drop-based product, video content and e-commerce.
- Take ownership on features and programs that we implement on our client apps and website.
- Create world-class responsive user interfaces and visual designs from concept to execution for desktop solutions and mobile applications.
- Apply innovation and forward-thinking to our designs to ship a product that is industry-leading, exciting and delightful.
- Work with the Product Design Lead to create a Pattern Library/Style Guide of UI elements, experiences and interactions, plus Visual Design Guidelines.
- Handles multiple projects in parallel, executes work efforts in an agile manner in support of business plans, organizational plans, and brand strategy.
- Work closely with product and product leadership to spec-out, design and implement solutions for our stakeholders.
- Understand and collaborate on complete product lifecycle from concept to execution.
- Convey visual design ideas in tangible forms like concepts, annotated comps and cut assets.
- Participates in developing visual design languages and systems including layouts, grids, illustrations, iconography, UI elements and other visual components.
Who You Are:
- You are self-motivated and passionate about solving design challenges.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can defend your design decisions using best practice.
- You have experience with rapid or agile development.
- You have a strong portfolio featuring examples of visual and interaction design work.
- Quick learner who’s resourceful
- Comfortable working in Figma
