Mazlo is seeking a UI/UX Mobile Product Designer to add to our expanding product team. Mazlo is a high-growth organization bringing a new-age, Financial Wellness approach to interacting with your money. Successful candidates must possess the entrepreneurial drive & spirit to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Our team is in need of a talented UI/UX Designer that has the design knowledge and has the passion to create high-quality products. The position allows for the opportunity to have a direct impact in all areas of Mazlo, now and in the future.
The ideal candidate is comfortable having responsibilities that vary significantly month over month, some of which will include the following day-to-day activities
Contribute & Build the next generation of Mazlo’s design systems:
You think in systems; you can see how all the parts fit together, and how a small change can propagate throughout the system
You care about the details and the craft on a deep level
You can anticipate how aspects of the application will be used by all users personas, and design for the best default user experience
Conceptualize, define and design atomic-level components—from structural layouts to micro-interactions—across web, iOS and Android platforms
An understanding of the product development process, from problem definition through to detailed UI and visual design
An understanding of web implementation technologies. No coding required, but an ability to converse with developers about implementation details is essential
Develop and define global standards:
Contribute to building a system of design concepts, language, and patterns that will allow product designers and engineers to focus on product-level problems, ship high-quality work efficiently and consistently

Technology savvy, can-do attitude, and approach

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of product design experience with an accompanying portfolio.
1+ years of shipping products and digital experiences.
Relentless attention to detail.
Natural entrepreneur.
Ability to collaborate flawlessly with multiple teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing).
Ability to support/do UX research.
Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
Use of Figma, Invision, Sketch
