Main Responsibilities

• Translate low-fi wireframes into high-fidelity designs following strict brand guidelines. Working in components to create usable graphical user interface elements
• Good communication and ability to present and rationalise your work to your peers, stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborating with the Product and Development teams to define and implement innovative solutions
• A robust and clear understanding of the product development cycle and the desire to work closely with our developers

 

Other Responsibilities

• Strong problem solving skills a good understanding of UX principles
• Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas 
• Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off 
• Manage a number of projects on the go and provide support to the design lead 
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user and client feedback
• You are able to work independently when required but are ultimately a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to take on board feedback

 

Required Skills

• 2+ years industry experience in UI, interaction, digital design.
• Proficient in Sketch, Invision and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A good understanding of current industry tools; and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Familiarity with component libraries.
• You have strong attention to detail and are extremely organised, process oriented, can multitask and can work quickly whilst delivering quality outcomes to tight deadlines 
• Familiarity and demonstrable experience working with brand style guides.
• A mobile first mentality
• Have a love for sports and or strong understanding of digital sports products
• A can do attitude with an authentic, enthusiastic and proactive nature
• Experience working with remote teams and co-workers 
• Eligibility to work in Australia

 

Desired Skills

• Previous work in sport industry 
• Experience of Figma 
• Knowledge of Material UI
