We are seeking a talented and creative UI Designer with a strong background in UX design to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for our websites and applications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of user experience principles, and the ability to create engaging digital experiences.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experiences
- User Centered Design: Design intuitive, visually engaging, and user-centred interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital platforms
- Design Execution: Translate wireframes, user flows, and product requirements into high-quality designs, from concept to final deliverables
- Collaboration : Work closely with UX designers to ensure UI designs align with user experience principles
- Design Systems: Create and maintain design systems, including style guides, colour palettes, typography, and reusable components
- Implementation: Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of UI designs
- feedback Incorporation: Gather and integrate feedback from stakeholders, users, and cross-functional teams to continuously improve designs
- Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis
- Trend Awareness: Stay up to date on the latest UI trends, techniques, and tools to keep designs fresh and innovative
- Best Practices: Ensure that all UI designs follow best practices in accessibility, responsiveness, and usability.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 5 years + experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a robust and strong portfolio showcasing UI design work
- Design Tools Proficiency: Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software
- Design Principles: Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and responsive design
- Design Systems Knowledge: Experience with design systems, component libraries, and maintaining consistency across multiple products
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, usable interfaces
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
- Usability Practices: Familiarity with usability testing and user research practices
- Agile Environment Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
